Meeting Dolphins – Nassau, Bahamas

My first real vacation took place in July 2009 on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship called Majesty of the Seas. Nassau is beautiful to say the least. One of the highlights of that trip was the Dolphin Encounter on Blue Lagoon Island.

Here is a short picture story that leads to the dolphin encounter..!

My home-away-from-home: The Majesty of the Seas. 🙂

The dolphin encounter group was able to sit around the water while the dolphin did a few tricks for us. He was super cute and really friendly.

Cute ♥

Super up close, underwater shot

I like the little bee look-a-like fishies.
So many!

For those that are considering the dolphin encounter excursion, I highly recommend it (especially in the Bahama’s). The sight seeing on the way to Blue Lagoon is amazing, and the dolphins are adorable and friendly!

After we headed out of Nassau, our ship was anchored near a beautiful private island called: CocoCay. [Shall be posting this within the next few days, check back if you’re interested!] 😀
