Playing with Fire

I was at a friends house the other night for a party and took some fun shots of the fire with some different exposure settings.

This was the first photo I took (you can see my friends shadow to the left, when he was setting up a blanket). The ISO Speed on this was set at 200, f/6.3 and exposure time was 4 seconds.

This photo’s properties are: ISO 200, f/7.1, with an exposure time of 10 seconds.

This photo’s properties are: ISO 200, f/9 with an exposure time of 30 seconds.

This one is my favorite (even though the fire started to die down at this point, so it’s not as intense as the first few). The properties are: ISO 200, f/3.5 with an exposure time of 35 seconds. In the full-sized photo of this shot, you can see the stars as well.

None of these were photoshopped (just resized and added a watermark).

Enjoy! 🙂
