  1. ^_^ always good to find a fellow writer. Can’t wait to see your work!

  2. WordPress says it thinks you’re in Bay Shore, and you mention C.W. Post. I grew up in Franklin Square but have now lived longer in Austin than I ever did on Long Island. Wish I’d paid attention to the native plants during all the two decades I was there.

    • Yeah, there are many beautiful plants around here (And WordPess guessed correctly, I do reside in Bay Shore 🙂 ). What prompted you to want to leave Long Island? I’ve thought about moving away a few times, but I’m not quite sure if I’d want to move away permanently.

  3. I don’t like the cold!

    • Haha, I hear that! Definitely my least favorite thing about living here. Especially last winter – it was brutal (so many snow storms!) It felt like it was the ’90s again haha

  5. Hey Maria!
Thanks for your post on Angels Around Her! Just discovered your site and am very impressed! I especially enjoyed reading the kidnapping story and about Jeff again! How is he? Say hello for me as I feel I know him through your work.
Beautiful, beautiful photos. Really nice work.

    • Hi Professor Cusumano,
Thanks for visiting my site too! Haha, Jeff is doing great, and I’ll tell him you said hi! It was so crazy witnessing a kidnapping; I’m so glad we were able to prevent it. Thanks for the compliments about my photos. I look forward to reading your blog as well! 🙂

  6. Hi! I came to your blog from your recent work (once upon a time, the end 😛 )! Nice concept (and nice posts here). 🙂

  7. Hello, I’m 71 and just starting a new career as a travel agent. I am looking for a Theme site and am very impressed with yours. I want to feature different areas of the world as you have but where would I find photos without going there? Rich

    • Hi there – I would try going to a Stock Photo website and exploring the photos that they have to offer. Also, lets say you’re looking for photos for the Bahama’s – Check to see if they have a website with photos, and see if there are any photos that are available for public use. (Any photos that you decide to use, I would always cite your source).

  8. Hi! Thank you so much for following my blog 😀
