Equipment

Sony Alpha NEX-3

-Quick Specs: 14.2 MP, Exmor APS HD CMOS Sensor
-Currently using an E-mount Lens: 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS (35mm film equivalent: 27-82.5mm)
– I recently purchased the: Sony 30mm f/3.5 Macro Lens, two filters and a flash (all of which I will add to this section). So far the quality is superb.

The majority of my photos are taken with my NEX-3. I fell in love with this camera when I first tried it out – the quality is simply amazing, very bright and sharp photos.

Canon PowerShot S5IS

-Quick Specs: 8 MP, 12 optical zoom

This was the first high-end model camera I bought a few years back. Definitely a great advanced starter camera for me, although it had a tough time in slightly dim places (generally produced a lot of noise). Any shots taken prior to 2011, including my first set of macro shots, were done with this camera.

Olympus Stylus 550 WP

-Quick Specs: 10 MP, can go 3m/10ft underwater

I purchased this lovely little point-and-shoot camera for my first cruise back in 2009. The quality is magnificent for a point-and-shoot; some of the shots I’ve taken remind me of film photography (the quality). The one quality drawback I’ve noticed was some of the photos coming out a bit overexposed.

Droid 3 Camera

-Quick Specs: 8 MP

Generally what I use when I’m on the go and don’t have any other options. For a phone-camera, it produces decent photos.
